NESF is pleased to announce the signing and completion of a share purchase agreement for the acquisition of two operating solar plants for a total installed capacity of 21.7MWp. The plants acquired were from one counterparty and comprise Bay Farm (8.1MWp, Suffolk) and Honnington (13.6MWp, Suffolk). Both plants were connected to the grid during March 2014 and are accredited under the 1.6 Renewable Obligation Certificate regulation. The acquisition will be funded by the Company’s existing resources.
NESF continues to pursue further transactions from its pipeline of acquisition opportunities and expects to announce further investments in due course.
Connected Energy, a pioneer in site-integrated energy storage solutions, is delighted to announce a £1.3million collaboration with Jaguar Land Rover, WMG, at University of Warwick and Videre Global to establish key components of a second life battery value chain. The project is co-funded by an Innovate UK grant, awarded in October.
