Manx registered company Aquacast International Ltd specialises in the new innovative idea of flood and Sea defence solutions, have signed a major partnership deal agreement with CEMEX UK who is one of the largest precast companies in the world.
CEMEX UK is a leading supplier of cement products. Founded in 1906, CEMEX has grown from a small local player into one of the top global companies in the world. Following a number of successful acquisitions, CEMEX now has more than 40,000 employees worldwide and an annual turnover of around US $15 billion.

Aquacast International's W design block, was invented and developed on the IOM,it is currently used by the IOM Manx Utility in Island water Reservoirs.
CEMEX UK will commence production of the W blocks in January 2016 at their Westland factory based in Scotland; the anticipated production capacity will be min the region of 6000 W blocks per day.
CEMEX UK has already received a strong interest in the W blocks from UK Environmental Agency and UK water utility companies.
CEMEX UK and Aquacast International, have recently exhibited the W Blocks at Flood Expo ,London Excel on the 14 &15th of October 2015.
Aquacast Manx invented W design blocks, has attracted considerable tender interest from UK local authorities for combating floods and sea defence walls.

held to discuss potential application of Manx invented W design blocks in the development of Douglas promenade and island sea defences.
